Another note, 
It works for String only because a String filled up with 0's and a size
>0 is appended
in pastEndPut:. 

Looks really strange. 

I guess all this Collection stuff would need some rework to get
Streaming working as expected. 
Maybe if we get ObjectWorks source code this may be solved anyway.
