it would be nice if there was an update on the server. Just for testing.

I tried it and it seems to work. But I got 0 updates.

Nice feature. If one starts to think about the implications... 

Next step would be to sync images without a specific 'update code from
server'. 
And then of course the ability to tell an object to move to another image. 

I use a metaphor of objects, places and events. Places are environments
where objects can live. A place is always attached to a physical place (an
image). Of course, there can be more places in 1 image. Objects can be told
to move (change address) and they may leave a forwarding address
(technically a proxy, surrogate or whatever). Places have the normal
community services for locating objects (like a city hall, even police to
check all instances in an image). Well, the rest is just looking at the
real world...
