Completely agreed. That archive merely exists as a quick way for locating
something that has been posted but not otherwise been published in the
official places. I even consider automatic deletion of the entries after,
say, a month or so? 

If there was an Squeak list archive which allowed to search for regular
expressions in the subjects and that handled attachments correctly, I
could drop this at all.
