Well, the Alto/Dorados where pretty bare.. if you count custom micro-coded
ecl based "more expensive then GOD" machines as bare :) (according to the
Green book I belive.)
Back in those days, the 5mb removable platter hard drive cost more then a
dual PentiumII with 256mb ram and 16 gigs of hard drive do today.
