By the way; the cause of the problem: filling in miscChanges10-1.st.
I needed to fill this in to make the PluggableWebServer of Mark Guzdial
work.
At least, that is what it says on Mark's webpage 'Starting the PWS'.
But then, that page was written before the release of 2.3...
Outdated documentation + my ignorance = ... ?
