Correcting my earlier post, Ed Berard's book is titled:

"Essays on Object-Oriented Software Engineering", Vol. 1
	( there are no other volumes, btw )

with ISBN 0-13-288895-5

Although it may be out of print, many people can still
get it through Interlibrary Loan... Amazon, Barnes and Noble,
and Borders are not the only suppliers of books in the
world!  See your local library for details, especially
if it happens to be a university library.

Ed's company, The Object Agency, has a web site at www.toa.com.
However, these days he's in the website business and appears
to not be doing much in the OO world anymore.  However, perhaps
he still has some copies of the book to sell.
