Well, duh. It's taken me this long to realize that if I do a
shift+right-click in windows/panes with menus that cascade to "more..."
submenus, I can get the submenu directly. And you can hold either shift
key down to get the syntax coloring in a browser text pane -- just hold
down a shift key, right-click to get the menu, select "pretty print",
then let go of the shift key.
