Notation and messages

Hi.

Loading the syntax with notations makes Squeak more like a language because
notations carry conventions as well. I think that conventions go against
messaging since the first are fixed and the second are not. Conventions are not
something you can fiddle with in a browser. 

Plus newcomers will, I feel, lose one of Smalltalk's ideas, that you can change
everything. Of course you can change your conventions in Smalltalk, but
newcomers won't touch the compiler and so after some time they will have to
relearn everything.

Whatever comes out, I'd like Squeak to have the least notational conventions as
possible because they add entropy. 

"Self\ChatManager> exaggerate: #aBit"

And there's the danger that conventions will in turn bring creeping featurism,
and if left like that then the compiler will gain critical mass and kaboom.
