The Mac was designed in response to the Lisa.  I think that even
though the iMac is cheaper by a hundred dollars or so, compared
economically to an SE/30, what Jobs really did was make the Mac
cheaper than the Lisa by an order of magnitude, and still be a pretty
nice machine.

That's really what I meant.
