You can always go to a web page that contains a flash animation, view
the source and find the exact name of the flash file (normally a .swf
extension). You can then tell your web browser to get that file
directly. If you web browser's MIME type is NOT set correctly, you
should be able to save it to disk. You may have to disable .swf in
whatever browser you use to be able to save to disk. Scamper will allow
you to save the file without changing MIME types.

Example:
There is an interesting flash screen on www.creeperlagoon.com (amazing
band!).
Looking at the source code, there is an embedded flash file
movieyumyum/creepersunrise.swf. Pointing my web browser to:
www.creeperlagoon.com/movieyumyum/creepersunrise.swf and bingo! The
flash file I want.
