Thanks, John, for the info. I slipped and did not include the author
information in my post. The mentioned chapter of "The Well-Tempered Object"
is in fact written by Carla Scaletti. It's called "The Kyma/Platypus
Computer Music Workstation", plus a 7-page addendum on later (i.e.,
1989-1991) developments.
