I don't think we have ever felt that documentation would be a problem.  We may jokingly project a baaad attitude, but if we could both dig ditches and plant flowers we would.

It is simply a choice in the presence of limited resources to press on toward the real goals rather than to document the meanderings along the way.  If we ever reach the place we're heading for, we know we'll WANT to document it.  It will be easy anyway, and lots of people will want to help.
