There was a thread about compiling 2.3 for HP-UX in February.

Georg Gollmann suggested that:

 To make the external primitive stuff work on HP/UX call make with

 LDFLAGS="-Wl,-E"

 A HP/UX mangled version of sqUnixExternalPrims.c and the binary of the VM
 is at http://macos.tuwien.ac.at/Squeak/HP%2FUX/
