It's the encoding that's non-ISO in Squeak's fonts.  Compare:

	dÈsolÈ, Áa dÈconne

entered using Emacs, with:

	désolé, ça déconne

saved from Squeak.  Needless to say, Emacs (etc...) fails to
display the accents correctly in the Squeak-saved version of the
text.

My simple-minded intuition tells me that all that's required is to
reorder the glyphs in the Squeak fonts - but I might be missing
something too.
