  Which archive are you having problems with?  I can currently get to 

ftp://st.cs.uiuc.edu/pub/Smalltalk/Squeak/2.5/

with no problem.  I had problems earlier this morning but that was a local problem 
not one related to the archive at UIUC.

The Swiki on minnow.cc.gatech.edu does seem to be down.  This was planned as they
are migrating over to a new web server.  You should be able to download the files
though from uiuc...
