Unix 2.8/2.9a

Hi,
I build the packages on st.cs.uiuc.edu. I'll update the packages
Monday as well with these new VMs.

My basic view of this is that I try to get what looks like the lastest
somewhat stable VM. If I've picked the wrong ones here
then I can remove the unix packages from st.cs.uiuc.edu. OTOH,
one way to find find bugs is to put the packages out and let people
try. I'd prefer to leave them and I'll try to track Ian's changes
so that the packages stay somewhat up to date.

cheers

bruce

p.s. Is anything every really *final* in the squeak world? At some
point we just get bored with release N and start calling our changes
release N+1 :-) Sometimes, as with 2.8, we don't even wait.
