Just for the record.

(Well, actually, my experience is that it grew on me until I came to
actually like it, including the colors. I do get jarred switching backt o 
MVC after working in Morphic for a while, but...)

I'll note that there is some preference support for changing the whole
look (at least wrt to rounded edgeds of windows and menus, and color
scheme). It might be fun to have the initial start up cycle through some
looks for one's perusal.
