As I noted, a copyright notice is of little legal substantive importance since the laws were changed in the mid-eighties (for most countries who are signatories to the Berne Convention).  Don't worry too much about it.

It does have some vestigial legal application, so its a good idea to give notice.  To the extent notice is given, do the best you can.  The legal notifiers, under the United States Act, are any one of "Copyright" "Copr." and c-in-circle, and nothing else.  This is why I recommend you use the text.  If you want to use a c-in-parens, feel free to do that as well, but also use the text for US compatibility.
