You can say EncodingFilters if you want to :-)  That's what they're  
called in the image nowadays.  Anyway, I have to admit that this  
wasn't something I had in mind when building them, and I'm not quite  
sure how they would fit (in re-creating morphs that were assembled by  
hand).

I am of course extremely curious.  What did you have in mind?
