Actually, I'd be more pessimistic and say that if Microsoft doesn't make 
big mistakes, Windows will continue to stay for a long time.  And there're 
millions of PCs out there.

Of course perhaps even more new non-Windows-PC computers will hit the 
market but targeting only them, is like ignoring the present and hoping for 
the future.

IMHO, Squeak shouldn't ignore current, conventional machines and, I think 
this was where this argument came from, therefore needs a conventional UI, too.

And they all will run Java ;-)  And Windows CE, oder PalmOS - replacing one 
monopol with another doesn't help...
