Cheap updates (Part II)

Hi all,

there recently was a discussion about having gzipped changesets and also
multiple changesets in a single download. I made a little CGI script that
does exactly this. It does on-the-fly-compression if you add ".gz" to the
file name and it can assemble a larger changeset from multiple
changes. Have a look at
	http://balloon.cs.uni-magdeburg.de/cgi-bin/updates/

So next time Dan puts out some updates, the european mirror will grab
these (this should take only minutes after the announcement in the list)
and you could download all at once, using an url like 2222-10000. Someone
would need to write a tool that separates the changesets into single
files, though. Or maybe directly updates from the gzipped contents.

Cheers! Time for bed now.
