One thing about Linux and the iPAQ is that in order
for Linux to take advantage of the USB interface on
the iPAQ it'll be necessary to either (a -- probably
better) wait for the upcoming 2.4 kernel or (b) load
in the patches.

That though should open all sort of neat opportunities
including access to USB peripherals like Ethernet
interfaces.
