In the startup sequence of the Squeak system expression (1) is evaluated 
which executes expression (2)

"1"
Smalltalk snapshot: true andQuit: true.

"2"
Smalltalk processStartUpList: true.


Expression (1) seems to be a misnomer? Is there a reason for this?
Expression (2) indicates the task clearly. Why isn't it directly executed?
