Can't speak to Alan's experience, but I have done that myself in a
sense; remember the old IBM PC/ATs? They had a keyboard lock for some
reason, and on many occasions after returning from lunch I would get
most of the way through an afternoons work before discovering the
keyboard was still locked. This was with the old (I'm talking _old_
here) Methods and then Smalltalk/V stuff.
