Yeah, but this isn't in any of that material. There's one short paragraph on
the pad in the PBG3 hardware paper. All I can find out is that "the 'books
use special software that convert the trackpad input into ADB mouse
signals", and that doesn't get you very far.

But what my contact told me was that people on one of the 'real' programs
could inquire for such info from Apple. One could always hack into the
driver code, but that one certainly isn't myself. Entering the Morphic event
code in Squeak's debugger is tricky enough...
