Hi folks,

with the newest tools, I've finally been able to compile a gnuified VM 
for MacOS-X, yielding a 40% increase in bytecode speed and a 30% in 
message sends, as reported by 0 tinyBenchmarks.

There is a known problem in that quitting via Squeak menu options will 
not actually terminate the application, even though the interpreter is 
halted.  This is due to the fact that the interpreter runs in a separate 
thread and Apple has disallowed terminating an application from a 
secondary thread in MacOS-X 10.0.  This will be addressed shortly.
