Ivan Tomek has put his "Joy of Smalltalk" on the web for free. 

I can't do any comparisons with the other books because

a.	I'm simply not good enough

b.	I'm still waiting for Mark's book to arrive

c.	My printer is out of toner and I don't like reading stuff on screen

But some of the other students on M206 (the Open University's Computing:
An Object-oriented Approach) recon that it blows the course material
into the weeds,
it has a nice style and Ivan is a nice guy. Why not give it a go?
