No, I think Joshua was just saying that it's not a big deal to misspell Smalltalk if you're not claiming to be an expert in Smalltalk. (the authors in question are not claiming to be Smalltalk experts)

Ah well.  Sometimes it's difficult to convince people that market share is not the only reason to choose a language.
