Noel,

Thanks for you kind words. Incidentally your forwards were helpful although
none of them turned out to be really addressing the "more interesting
problems". There are a number of people who've written (so to speak) "plugin
hosts" (which is not all that complicated - at one point I had even built
one into Squeak) but unfortunately, noone ever got interested in putting
this into the IE environment (which means tons of ugly COM code...).

Absolutely correct. My main priority at this point is to get a reliable
Squeak version ready for use in school - which starts in roughly two weeks.
We'll have about a hundred kids using Squeak through the entire year and you
can probably imagine that this is a bit of work. Besides this, there are
various other high-priority items on my list (none of which I like to
discuss publicly) and unfortunately for the foreseeable future I won't have
time to work fulltime on this problem.

I'm sorry but except from point (a) none of the above are very far up on my
priority list. So if there's anybody willing to help with the issues, I'm
