Uh, I never thought about 3.1...
Yes, the update should definitely go into 3.1 as well. And a few others,
thinking of it...

As Scott stated correctly, it is/was a bug. Large or encoded (like jpeg)
images are stored in external files and there was bug in handling URLs
pointing to these files.

Michael
