Hi,
Can I ask when this book will be published?
Can you also put the "Contents" of the book in the web?
Thanks,
Alex Kang

Subject: Updated CD-ROM Contents posted for review
Hello all,
I've up-loaded a new version of the SqueakBook CD-ROM contents for your
review and comment. The package source and virtual image folders are
reorganized and updated (thanks, contributors), there are more
documents, and the Web navigation pages have been improved. Oh, and it
includes Squeak Version 3.0 (YEAH TEAM).
If you have any content on it, or are interested in helping fix it.
Please do take a look...
You can peruse the CD-ROM using ftp at
ftp://ftp.create.ucsb.edu/pub/Squeak/CD-ROM/
or via the Web at
http://www.create.ucsb.edu/~stp/CD-ROM/
(Note that the Web interface won't follow the links to the
subdirectories properly, but you can look over the html index pages).
To down-load the whole thing (224 MB zip file), just grab the file
ftp://ftp.create.ucsb.edu/pub/Squeak/CD-ROM.zip
The total volume is about 500 MB now, so we have free space to spend.
Who wants to send me their favorite virtual images, movies, MIDI files,
sounds, screen-shots, or other content?
What missing from this version is the build of Siren, and some polishing
of the index file in the packages folder.
We have a week before I have to burn the master, please help make it
better!
