newbie. how to print source in a nicely human readable form?

Believe it or not, the majority of Smalltalk appear to eschew printed 
listings for the browser.  I, too, was incredulous about this when I 
began, but I have learned that browsing is almost always superior to 
printed output in practice.

Understanding that you, too, will be incredulous until you have done 
this for awhile, I suggest you use the printOut mechanism.  I am not 
sure what you require. as you don't indicate in your e-mails what is 
insufficient.  If you need to printOut entire classes or entire 
categories, simply select the class or category in the browser, go to 
the menu and select printOut.  This will produce an HTML file with a 
complete listing in the Squeak default directory.
