The GPL definitely seems incompatible with the Apple License
used in Squeak. Then again, according to gnu.org, most things seem
imcompatible. If what you're looking to port is under a LGPL or similar
license, which allows it to be incorporated into propreitary software,
then it shouldn't be a big deal.
