Thanks for the fast answer.
Ok, I got the same here now on my system. After about a minute something
comes up.(I assumed it froze
when nothing happened after 30 sec...)
I think the issue is bad MPEG encoding. 
I'll keep on looking. And I'll look into the percentage vs timecode seek
mecanism. Maybe a better solution is possible :-)
