I opened the GIF file that was included in

When I stretched the resulting SketchMorph, even just a little bit, it
goes very grainy and completely Green and Black.  Other GIFs go very
grainy.

I don't see this problem with JPEGS or PNGs.

I see this in the latest 3.2alpha and latest 3.1alpha.  I do not get the
problem in the release 3.0
