I agree.  I didn't mention the idea because I thought someone might do
what I'm about to do.

Why don't *you* go post it to the Swiki?  :)  I suspect there is some
sort of Licenses page already.  If not, adding a "Licenses" heading
under "Documentation" on the main page would be reasonable.
