IMNSHO, F-Script or a language very much like it is the next step in the 
evolutionary path towards maximal expressive power - Arrays and Objects 
are made for each other. The F-Script-related papers are among the most 
interesting (and eye-opening) ones I've ever read, so don't judge before 
having done the same.

APL -- or rather K (http://www.kx.com), probably the most advanced 
APLesque langauge in existence -- is, after some time (~ 1 week) of 
reading and writing, of course, _extremely_ readable. The extremely 
dense notation makes it actually easier to get a grasp on the potential 
structure of the computation than with more verbose langauges (strictly 
my experience).
