Every time this question pops-up and you get the answer why this is not done
because of the muti-platform-choices: I am still wondering why there is no
mapping-table in Squeak for all these tuning whishes. (Something like the
channel-patch-panel of a midi-interface)

Subject: Squeak for Windows - Ctrl instead of Alt key

I'm used to press the Ctrl key for shortcuts (eg cut/copy/paste) because it
is standard for Windows.

- Is there a special reason for mapping the Alt-key for shortcuts instead of
the Ctrl-key? I don't want to a philosophize about it or spur on a
mega-discussion in this mailing-list - I'm sure we have lots of more
important stuff to talk about :-)

- Are there any side effects if I switch the mapping in the function
recordKeyboardEvent (sqWin32Windows.c)?

Thank you in advance and
happy squeaking
Gerald.
