Francisco Garau (a SUGAR guy) demo'ed his Concrete Type Inference at
ESUG.
I don't if it's applicable, but he should be able to answer that (not
very soon, he was going on vacation).

I think it should be - he was doing an algorithm along the lines of one
of the approaches that was being looked at for Self (I think it lost,
type feedback won. Not sure, though).
