[BUG][VMMaker] VMMaker builds broken VM under Linux.

Hiya. I'm having trouble getting a new VM built.

I've tried many different combinations of images/plugins/etc, but the
end result is invariably a useless VM.

I've sent mails about this to the list, but have heard nothing back.
Please help!!

Basically, I've taken the only available pre-built VM that I can find,
the one from Ian P's page. (Why aren't there builds available from the
sourceforge page? That is the natural place to put releases...)
That VM is 3.1beta. It is basically the end of the 3.1 line.
To get updates, I changed the SystemVersion to 3.2alpha, and filed in
all the 3.2alpha updates. Then I filed in the 3.2 gamma updates.

I've tried stopping at 4743, I've tried going to 4827, I've tried it
with the "ConsolidateTo4744-JMM.4.cs", I've tried it without, tried it
with no plugins, all external plugins, etc, etc. With VMMaker-3.2-6.1
I can _build_ a VM, but whenever I run it with the various images, it
doesn't work. If I build it with plugins, it crashes immediately, if I
build it with no plugins it just gives me a black screen and eats CPU.

I don't know what I am doing wrong, I don't know if I'm using the wrong
image or what, but it just doesn't work. I followed the directions on
http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak/2173 and all the steps _seem_ to run
smoothly, but like I said, the end result is useless.

Please, does anyone have any advice? I don't even know where to start
looking to solve the problem. Does _anyone_ have any advice?

Thanks,

Hunter
