I think I spoke to quick. Something is not right with the patch - at
least not when applied to the SF source - which of course can be the
source of the problem.

I don't think the semaphores get signalled correctly anymore -
Socketstuff seems to "hang" until timeouts happen etc. So pages served
from Comanche takes a very long time until they show up. So it still
works, but quite erradically.

Hmmm, perhaps I should take a closer look on the changes you did, I just
"mapped" them over into SF without thinking too much.
