I did one for exobox, which was indeed useful for profiling, but only
over the relatively short span applicable to fitting microsecs into a
SmallInt. Too much work (for little value) to do anything grand with it.

Hmph. I was about to knock up a quick prim using ioMicroMSecs() but
notice that it carefully degrades resolution to milllisecs even if you
can actually get microsecs. Seems to rather ruin the point somehow.

Wouldn't be hard to add if people want it.
