I would like to send some broadcast UDP packets to discover a device on
the local ethernet limb - don't have the slightest idea of what that
means, but my previous UDP packet stuff in Squeak worked great, so if you 
kind and gentle folks culd tell me how to make some broadcast packets, I
guess I could follow the pointers -
