I don't think it makes much sense to add such a big change to the VM
on one architecture but not on all others.... One important part of
being "write one run everywhere" is using the same sources on all
plattforms...
Your vm-changes seem to be more of the kind of things that would
be more appropriate for the V4-vm project, not production VMs.

Why not put it on the ftp-server? The Swiki should have a page that
discribes what it is, how to get it, etc...
