I've run with that algorithm ever since I started using Squeak with
exception-handling, in 1996, and never had any problems. I've even
submitted this change a few times (and a couple of times it was accepted
:), but it keeps regressing for some reason. So now I just make this
change myself whenever I notice that it's regressed. :)
