In 3.2gamma and 3.3alpha, if you select some text such as "3 + 4" in a workspace, and then hit the yellow button to bring up a pop-menu (to do a print-it, etc.), the text highlighting disappears while the menu is open.

The text selection isn't really lost... you can still do a print-it or inspect-it.  But it is disturbing to have the highlighting disappear, and probably not very beginner-friendly.

I'm guessing this bug was introduced with the keyboard control of menus.
