Contrary to popular belief, mail hardly gets lost (I'm assuming that there are
no MS Exchange servers connected to the Net ;-)). Mail during the outage would
have been scheduled, and mail that arrived in the small time window (one or
two hours on Monday morning, i.e. Sunday night in the US were most subscribers
lived) that the list configuration was still buggy will probably have bounced
back to the sender.
