Hi all,

attached is a SUnit test for the FileDirectory API based on John
McIntosh's changes and Sunit tests for Mac long filenames.
You need to first file in the dirFixes to make it work (at least on
Win).

I am also working on adapting the file stream test suite he did.

Can other platform gurus please run the test suite and report the
results?
Please take a close look at the platform specific fileNameLength, this
is the most likely candidate for causing problems.
