Well it seems I am way out of line because I use and have been using Slackware
for years and I do not have any inclination to change.

I very rarely experience any of the problems espoused on this list. For me
the 'LINUX' experience is very rewarding and I can usually solve most problems
I encounter either by research via the internet or when all else fails RTD,
RTD, RTD, RTD .......

Packaging problems do not exist because I start with a base distribution and
then compile and install all programmes that I need.

This is only my way and is not meant to be a judgement of RedHat, Debian, SUSE,
or any other distribution.

I enjoy the freedom that Slackware gives and I do not like any system that
impinges on that feedom.

Regards
