Comments internationalization ?

Good idea. I will add an ISO language code as an attribute to each entry in
the database, and a parameter to the requests.

I was chatting with Stephan Wessels about what we could do with this concept
that might be an improvement, and perhaps deals with Tim's issue of
higher-level documentation.

There's little reason why the database should be storing just text comments-
it can just as well store, for instance, BookMorphs. That way it could hold
diagrams, executing sample code, animations, etc. Sort of like a Morphic
Swiki. I'd probably need to bump the comment size to more that 64K (need to
do that anyway, Squeak has a couple of *really large* class comments).

Subject: Comments internationalization ?

Hi all,

i think the comment database hosted at sqdb.squeak.info, can be modify
in order to provide also multi-lingual comments. The english version should
be
the mandatory default version and contributors can provide
translations in other language. I can be a great boom for the usage of
Squeak in a pedagogical context. (my students doesn't like english to much
...)
